jacqueline mahan
jacquie mahan is a native of the upper arlington suburb of columbus, ohio, and a graduate of the art institute of boston. jacquie’s interest in art gallery operations formed at an early age, and following her return to columbus from boston, she channeled her passion to address the underserved population of beginning collectors in her community. "i recognized that there are a large number of would-be patrons who may be intimidated by price points of art at other columbus galleries," said mahan. "at the mahan gallery, we want to encourage art appreciation and collection, so we’ve dedicated our gallery to offering outstanding value in original art. our goal is to develop an affinity and loyalty among early collectors, and grow with them from the beginning stages of their collections through their maturity."
jacquie has served on a number of arts boards and organizations, most recently, as a juror for the city of upper arlington community arts festival. she lives in the short north with her chihuahuas, dottie and molly, and a very impressive collection of high heels.
