44 boards
44 boards is a project conceived to be an eclectic group of artists, illustrators, graffiti artists, graphic designers, and painters from all over the world. (us, canada, australia, brazil, germany, and the uk)
each artist will bring his or her own distinctive style and skill to a non-standard canvas, a skateboard deck. each board will be sold at the show in auction. bids begin at $100 and the majority of the proceeds will be donated to the human rights campaign of columbus.
this show has been the passion of artist, robert trautman, for over a year. as curator and organizer of this event, trautman has seen this show from conception to completion. he has taken care of the boards for the artist and the design and printing of the promotional material.
trautman, a graphic designer and artist living in columbus, intends on making this show a success by presenting an exhibit that will celebrate diversity and understanding. he is donating his efforts to a humanitarian cause that embraces these beliefs.
