megan paints abstract imagery, inspired from her surrounding lanscape. her process is always intuitive which means in her words that the compositions are sensitive, whimsical and self revealing. practicing this method creates levels of texture and at times exposes the previously attempted marks. using oil paint creates a richness within the conversation between shape and line. it is the gesture of movement connecting to shape and line as well as the bright colors that sets a playful tone.
